Canada Flood - Personal Experience

I AM A SURVIVOR OF CALGARY FLOOD.

It was the morning of June 19 of 2013, i was preparing to go to my college, everything was normal, it was a normal day like every other, in the night it was raining but everything fine, 5 minutes before i go to school i felt a wet ambient but i didnt pay attention to that.

When i crossed the door, all the neighbourhood was flooded (like in the picture) the water entered to my house and everything got wet, i cant even walk because the water covered my knees, fortunately in my zone it wasnt disastrous like in other parts of the city, buildings were destroyed, cars, houses, street business were damaged and people were hurt, obviously all the colleges and schools in the city cancelled the classes, it took more than 5 months to recover of all the damages and stabilize the city.
